Effects of divorce on children and families are manifold; one such aspect is the; financial effect: based on an article published in “American Sociological Review”, in 1999; the average divorced woman; is left in a state where they never fully recover from the financial setback until they remarry. Thus a divorced woman has limited monetary support in comparison to an average married woman. Emotionally feelings of unhappiness, loneliness, and depression surround her divorced people; especially women. Children also suffer badly as they are neglected and left uncared for. This leads to behavioral issues due to psychological problems.
