Discuss the relationship between talking & thinking and how this may vary in individuals from different cultures.

Answer #1

Language brings thinking and talking together. Sometimes people have a swift cognition which allows them to be creative and have a high emotional quotient however, sometimes language inhibits talking and a person is unable to speak their mind out. However, speaking about the direct relationship between talking and thinking varies from culture to culture as in some cultures it is unacceptable for women to talk. They are neither allowed to have a mind of their own and are often not entitled to voicing their opinions. It tends to lead to punishment and other forms of tortures due to which women often choose to keep their thoughts and opinions to themselves without voicing it.
