Identity theft has become a serious and growing problem in the United States. Why do you think it is? How do you feel we can prevent it? Feel free to share your personal experience with this, if you have any. If you have personal experience, discuss how it affected you and if anything has changed for you since the theft.

People commit crime/robbery/theft majorly because they are jealous of other's success and want an easy way out to be equal in monetary sense instead of working hard. Another reason why individuals indulge in theft is perhaps low self-esteem. Peer pressure is another reason.

Theft can be prevented by investing in a safe or locker to store your valuables, a good security system in and around the house, keeping your credit and debit cards detail safe and etcetera.

Theft can have a traumatic affect on a person who has experienced it. It leaves them with horrific visuals that affect their psychological state of mind.
