Social justice means ensuring that the societal roles are fulfilled by individuals fulfill and after fulfilling their role individual should receive their due from society. Thus social justice establishes fair and just relations between individuals and society leading to an equal distribution of wealth, opportunities and social privileges.

Civil rights are the rights of individuals in a society to receive fair and equal treatment. We cannot have one without the other as only when there is social justice within a society, there no discrimination and hence the civil rights are preserved.
