Describe and analyze the usage of correlational research. Identify when you would and would not use this method of design.

Answer #1

A quantitative method of research in which we have two or more variables and we try to determine; a relationship i.e. covariation between the two variables is called a correlational study. I would use it find a relation when required like; the percentage of attendance of students and the grades they get. However, since the Correlational method does not tell the causation i.e. reason for an observation; I will not use it study for example the effect of a newly discovered drug on human subjects.
