· Shifting the focus from yourself to the true purpose i.e. contributing something of value to your audience.
· Stop scaring yourself with thoughts about what might go wrong. Refuse to think about thoughts that create self-doubt and lower the confidence.
When I forgot to say what I was supposed to say in a speech competition. I remained calm for a moment and then greeted the audience for a minute or two talked about the bad weather and then I remembered everything and things worked out for me. Thus the situation was handled properly. Staying calm and relaxed is the only suggestion that I can give for handling similar situations
