the adolescent should receive sex education because it is very necessary for them to know about sexual health and what is right and wrong for them. It will help in order to reduce sexually transmitted disease and teen pregnancy.

There are three types of programs available in the U.S for sex education and birth control:

• Abstinence-only

• abstinence plus

• comprehensive sex education.

These programs are highly beneficial for students and helped in order to reduce early pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

In U.S sexual education is given to the adolescents from 6 to 12 grades.main purpose of these educational programmes is to make the student more aware about sexual health and sexual orientations

Schools should give 30 to 40 sex education hours and provide condones to the students of 8 to 9 standards and aged from 14 to 16.

On the other hand in the Asian and middle eastern countries like India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq etc. Sex education is believed as a taboo. Talking about sex in the schools and educational institution is still believed as a strange thing.

Due to the globalization and progress in urbanized cities in India sex education is now started but due to the cultural beliefs and taboos, even teachers hesitate to talk about sex to students.
