“For countless generations the Flambos have been known for their extraordinarily flamboyant behavior. When Jane Flambo (who is 90 years old) shows up, expect to see her doing a dozen handstands, one right after the other.” (Name the fallacy)

Answer #1

A fallacy occurs when there is a flaw or logical error in the argument made and lead to an illogical conclusion as the statement is not logical. even though if the conclusion and premises of the statement are true but the conclusion is not logical it is referred to as non-sequitur.

Here, in this case, Jane Flambo is 90 years old and it is not possible for her to do dozens of handstands one right after the other. The premises and the conclusion of statement fail to connect logically as Jane is too old to do handstands.

Thus, the above fallacy is said to be Non-Sequitur fallacy.
