Describe some informal work cultures in which you have been involved that encourage behavior other than those organizationally prescribed.
I worked in a place where i was involved in research work. I was heading a team of eight people, although i was the head of the team, there wasn't any rigid hierarchical structure in the organization. I did not have to follow any fixed timings of work, i could come in and go out anytime i wanted. At the end of every week i would discuss with my superior about the work which i and my team had done in that week and what would be done next. I and my team had no specified workstation or desks etc. I would often sit on beanbags or outdoors in the company park with my laptop and work. I would often play table tennis and chess with my colleagues when i wanted to take a break. I found that my productivity was very high in this company as i had internal motivation to work, there was freedom and flexibility, also there wasn't any stress in work.
