You are reading a literature review written by a researcher. You notice that the researcher seems to have relied heavily on Internet search while conducting the literature review. You look at the reference page and find a long list of Internet addresses. What is your opinion regarding the quality and adequacy of the literature review in this situation? Explain
Earlier, when people prepared their literature review, they relied heavily on the books and journals. Now with the invention of the internet everything is available readily. The result is that most of the books and journals are also available online. If the researcher used these sources no problems but if the researcher used more of a blogs and opinions, they won't add any value to the research because anyone can write anything on the internet which will be only personal views and these personal views are not formed out of a formal research.
So it's not advisable to rely on the internet sources while doing the literature review.
