The sitcom selected was 'Friends' which was aired on NBC from 1994-2004. The agents of socialization at play was that of peers relationship. It talks about six friends and their relationship. The story showcase six friends having their own characteristics, and weakness. However, the surprising thing was that with all the different ideologies, they still find a way to stick together. The show showcases the women to be independent and hyper-emotional. It represented two extremes of men in the earlier seasons, where on one end there was one man who is very afraid of getting committed, and the other, who wants a secure and committed relationship.
