Your representative in the state assembly is supporting a bill that would cut funding for mental health. Using what you have learned in the psychological disorders chapter to convince him/her of the need for better mental health care. Are there any particular psychological disorders or populations that are in more need of funded mental health services than others?

Based on the report by WHO; I will try to convince the representative in the state assembly for not supporting a bill that would cut funding for mental health as; four of the six leading causes of years lived with disability are due to neuropsychiatric disorders like; depression, alcohol-use disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Since the Anxiety disorders affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older are the most common mental illness in the U.S. I would request for more funding of this disorder to enhance the quality of life of the Americans and their associated families.
