In your own words, what kind of false beliefs about rape you think is the most dangerous and why?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Rape is something that is very unfortunate , in which the person is sexually assaulted by the other person usually involving sexual intercourse forcefully without her consent.

There are many false beliefs about rape , such as that the men can't get raped , women incite men to rape , rapists are low social class people , Rape is sex , Post marital rape is no such thing etc.

I think the belief that the women incite men to rape is most dangerous. This is because no women will want herself to get raped. It is the mentality of the rapists and not the actions of victim that cause this to happen . A girl in full covered cloack is equally vulnerable to the girl wearing bikini. So this is totally a myth.
