STI's - Sexually transmitted infection, are infections that are commonly spresd by sex, especially vaginal intercourse, anal sex or Oral sex.
The governament has to right to inform partners of people with STI's to protect partner from infection and avoid any future embarrassment. It helps the infected person to get moral support from the partner and partner can take precautionary steps to avoid spread of infections.
STI's bacterias ( Chlamydia & Gonorrhea) may cause pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility. Chlamydia can also cause fallopian tube infection. Pelvic inflammatory disease infection in the upper genital tract may cause permanent damage to the fallopian tubes, uterus and surrounding tissues which can lead to infertility..
