Answer #1

People with chronic STI have difficulty in sexual relationship because sexual intercourse is very painful. Couples dealing with STIs face physical and psychological issues. The psychological issue is the mistrust that develops among the partners as who is to blame for the condition, other issue is the social stigma associated with it.It also effects the reproductive capacity of individuals as it is related to infertility. STI also causes anomalies in fetus, leads to premature delivery and still birth. Besides these , the physical symptoms as chronic back pain, irritation in genitals , infection of genitals etc need immediate medical attention and may prove costly. These are the special issues faced by couples with chronic STI.
