The information which is solicited in a 360-degree feedback process actually include the feedback from an employee's subordinates, (colleagues), and supervisor(s), and even self-evaluation by employee him. Such feedback which include, feedback from external sources which interact with the employee, such as suppliers and customers or other interested stakeholders. 360-degree feedback, known as multi-rater feedback, or multi source assessment, is named because of the solicits feedback which is regarding the employee's behavior to which a variety of points of view (subordinate, and supervisory).

The advantage are

1) it actually brings the people together..

2) it identifies development opportunities.

3) it reflects the core competency of the behaviour of the organisation..

The disadvantages are:-

1) it leads to a inadequate feedback.

2) it also lead to poor leadership
