Among them, service, Dignity and worth of the individual, Integrity and Competence are the four similarities between the core values of social service and Walden. As an educational institution, Walden strives to maintain and deliver the above said four values that is very similar to the core values of social work. So an educational institute is very similar to a social work and the people working in educational institutions are social workers.
