Placebo is a type of pseudo treatment that not contains active
therapeutic value. I may given to the patients to deceive him/her
by make them believe that they are on the process of active
treatment.
In my opinion Meditation is not like placebo because in many
medical therapy other than allopathy like in Ayurveda, Naturopathy
and other alternative therapies. Meditation is the main and one of
the important part of therapies.
It is both scientific and systematic medical procedure to treat
various psychological and physical imbalances. According to many
researchers now it is scientifically proven that systematic
meditation under the guidance of trained therapist,it affects body
positively.
