Studies of marijuana’s impact on the brain structure in humans have shown somewhat conflicting results. Some studies suggest regular marijuana use in adolescence results in altered connectivity and reduced volume in certain regions of the brain which affects a broad range of decision making functions such as memory, learning, and impulse control compared to people who do not use the substance.Other studies have not yet found significant structural differences between the brains of people who do and do not use marijuana.

Medical cannabis or medical marijuana is frequently prescribed by doctors to their patients.Studies have shown that marijuana can help cure insomnia,reduce nausea during chemotheraphy, helps improve appetite and reduces chronic pain in patients.Medical cannabis or medical marijuana can be consumed through capsules,lozenges,tinctures,dermal patches or oral sprays.
