Pro's and Con' s of objective tests regarding it's uses are:

  • Pro's or Uses:
    • Objective test are best at analysing the factual knowledge of the examinee's
    • It accurately measures the objective knowledge with minimum errors in calculations and objectivity.
    • It can measure different aspect of a subject accurately in a brief period of time.
  • Con's of objective tests
    • Can only measure the objective or factual knowledge
    • Is not helpful at analysing the subjective knowledge of the examinee's.
    • Cannot measure the creative aspect of the examinee's.
    • Though it requires an objective answer but answering takes time
    • It's a difficult process to construct a objective test that has items measuring the concerned topic or subject accurately.
