The main threats to and boundaries of freedom during the Revolution were:

• The women and slaves were not given privileges of liberty because of the assumption of their natural incapacities.
  • Women were considered as weak and incapable of taking right decisions,hence,were subjugated under men.They were denied of the right to vote and to take decisions on their behalf,also, they were denied of right to inheritance.
  • Slaves were considered as beasts of burden,only fit for servitude.They were not given any sort of freedom.
• White men were given freedom of equal opportunity not freedom of equal condition.The white men strong economic conditions enjoyed all the privileges of freedom.
• Thus,the threats to and boundaries for freedom were the class,gender and race discrimination.
