Why is someone with the IQ of a toddler the current president of the United States?

Answer #1

This is a very difficult question to answer, however, I feel that it reveals an alarming messsage about the citizens of United States in general, fuelled by growing levels of frustration and intolerance. It isn’t by some stroke of luck that the current president emerged to power, he had the support of scores of citizens.Despite the several controversial statements and policies he made, he was able to gather enough following, perhaps because he strongly stood out from the others and people were willing to give him a shot, even if there was the slightest possibility of change. Perhaps, the long term consequences of having such a president was not assessed for the sake of short term goal fulfilment during the time of decision making.
