Answer #1

The new habit would be healthy eating habit. Would like to develop this habit beacuse over eating and urge for junk food is causing weight gain and health problems.

Using Rubin's framework for developing this habit is as following:

  • Monitor: maintaining a food log that gives the detail of what is eaten and the quantity taken
  • Schedule: Dividing food portion in to four to five medium serving per day that will be converted to small servings.
  • Convenience: dividing the food portion will keep away the urge to eat a large meal at a time and also keep away hunger.
  • Pairing: Selecting the favorite fruits for breakfast or trying new recipes with the veggies.
  • Loopholes. Its a deliberate process that may take time to have access to healthy eating habit because old habit of overeating will be big hindrance and also avoiding junk food is a big challenge.
