  1. Cognitive perspective focuses on how people learn,understand,diagnose and solve problems. /it states that cognitive disorders have been learned and so can be unlearned.It focuses more on mental processes. Cognitive psychologist have used methods of observation.
  2. Psychodynamic approach focuses on 3 parts of the mind conscious,unconscious and sub-conscious and 3 components of personality id,ego and super ego. According to Freud childhood experiences plays a crucial part in adult personality. Conscious are thoughts and perceptions while unconscious are wishes and desires formed in childhood. Freud used more clinical case studies,dream analysis and free association to research his theory.
