Explain quantitative vs. qualitative

Explain quantitative vs. qualitative

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The main different between quantitative and qualitative are as follows

Quantitative is that which thrives in numbers and thrives in measurable components, that which can be measured by the aid of numerical reasoning. For instance, the number of silk yarns.

Qualitative, on the other hand, is that which does not thrive in number, but in the quality of something, which is rather subjective and is measured not in numbers but in the nature of the given component. For instance, the feel of silk.
