What are your thoughts of replacing traditional medicines for children with medicines derived from marijuana?

I strongly condemn this changeover. The prescription medicines for children are far more better than the medical marijuana. Marijuana is basically a drug which can be used for medicinal purposes as well. But children should not be allowed to use it due to its many side-effects. Marijuana is addictive drug and can cause one to become habitual of consuming this drug. Also, it interferes with fertility, impairs driving ability, and injures the lungs, immune system, and brain. It is also associated with the occurrence of aggression and anxiety, decreased mood and decreased appetite, which is harmful for children.
