ADHD can affect children and teen also and it may continue through adulthood. It is the most commonly diagnosed mental disorder of children.

Counseling is a very good way for a ADHD child. The child may show behaviour that is very disruptive to others. Behavioral therapy is a option, that can make wonders. It includes behavioral therapy for child, behavioral therapy for parents or both.
Behavioral therapincludes Play therapy, Cognitive therapy and Psychotherapy. Behavioral therapy for parents help them to get techniques for managing behaviour pattern of the child.
Stimulant medicines are also useful like, Ritalin, Concerts, Metadata, Focalin etc..
Social skills training will helps the child to learn new things and it helps to deal with ADHD.
Beware of some of the foods, that also can cause ADHD reactions. They are egg, lemon, orange, grapes, tomato, beans, soy, chocolate etc.
Over thinking is a part of ADHD also associated with insomnia and apathy. Be careful about the patient.
COUNSELING - Council the patient to accept the disease and stop overthinking. Advice them to do exercise. Engage them in play . Remain vigilant for them . They vary their moods and also they can become aggressive.
BEHAVIORAL THERAPY- it moulds the patients behaviour. There are 3 types of behavioral therapy
1- cognitive behavioral therapy, it is very popular. It combines cognitive therapy with behavioral therapy. This treatment mainly focus on the beliefs and thoughts influencing their actions. The main goal of this treatment is to change the patient's behaviour and thinking pattern..
2- Cognitive play therapy, it is mainly used in children. Therapist watch the children during play and makes treatment.
3 - System desensitization, it is mainly used for phobias.
4 - Aversion therapy, it is mainly used in treatment of substancabuse or alcoholism.
