Answer- The effects of bad hospitalization on patients are as follows-

1) The patients can take longer time than normal to recover from their illness.

2) Patients can get frustrated and anxious due to the bad hospitalization.

3) Patients can develop restlessness and depression in the long term.

4) Patients can develop some other illness apart from their main illness which can be very detrimental to them.

As a health psychologist I would make sure that the patients get proper mental and physical care.They should not be left alone in times of need. An official caretaker should always be there with the patient and should look after the needs of the patient. The patients should be given proper food and proper lodging facilities in hospitals. They should also get a clean and healthy environment without any pollution and dirt.
