• How is nature different from nurture in the process of socialization- Define each term and explain your response.
• Consider an individual to use as an example to apply the nature versus nurture debate; it can be yourself, a celebrity’s child, or one in a set of twins separated at birth and later reunited. Has nature or nurture contributed more to their socialization process- Has nature or nurture contributed more to their development of self? Explain your response and provide supporting examples.

Nature and nurture debate has been from a very long time in the field of psychology. Nature effects says that human behavior and personality are the result of biological process whereas nurture effect says that a human's personality is determined by the outside environment of the person rathe than biological factors.

For example: There is child whose parents are introverts but the child is outgoing and extrovert, this would be the example of nurture effect. On the other hand a child parents are fun-loving and jolly so is the child. so this would be the example of biological/nature effect.

The process of socialization is, mostly if not entirely, nurture effect. A child socialization process starts from the family slowly slowly leading to other social groups, such as school, friends circle, and sports group. So socialization process is more to nurture than nature.
