As an aspiring preschool teacher, I would like to interview someone who is has had several years of experience in this field. I would like to know the employment opportunities in the field and the extent to which opportunities for professional growth and development exist. As far as my current knowledge goes, preschool teachers usually work their way up from assistant teacher, to teacher, to lead teacher and perhaps to director of the institution. I would like to clarify however, whether this is the usual career trajectory along with how much job satisfaction is experienced in the field.
