The facial play an important role in our routine communication with the people around us. The human face can express numerous expression, and is an important medium of nonverbal communication. They speak more effectively and strongly than our spoken words. We give out a lot of cues and take cues regarding moods, attitudes, and emotions. These nonverbal cues effectively shapes our views and opinions about others and vice versa. When we find the expression of anger or frown in others face, we too feel stressed or frowned towards them, or we will try to figure the reason for it and try to resolve it. Thus facial expressions affects our interpersonal relationships.
