Freudian slips relate to the functioning of the unconscious mind as many of our feelings, desires, and emotions are repressed and we are not aware of them. According to Freud sometimes these hidden desires and wishes are surfaced out through dreams and slips of the tongue and called "Freudian slips". Thus the events in our childhood influence on our adult life, as they are hidden from consciousness, and they may cause expressed in our dreams or slips of the tongue. We should properly analyze such slips to resolves the psychological issues of a person that may affect his development.
