1- Media- The available different/ varied means of communication are termed as the "Media".

2- Mass media- The specific means/ ways of communication that focus on reaching to a big number/ more number/ numerous people.

3- Social media- The application oriented technology that facilitates quicker content sharing through formation of online communities.

I personally feel that an individual is more influenced by the social media.

This is because there's a larger scope to express, more freedom is assured, there's a reciprocation of ideas and information through various shades of emotions and further it reflects the essence of informal relationships (for example- friends, families)as well.
