Plato says that art is this inferior thing. That art stimulates the irrational part of you which is your emotions. How can I argue that art does nourish the emotion part of us, but disagree that having emotions is a bad thing?

We can argue that art does nourish the emotional part of us, but disagree that having emotions is a bad thing. Art is a beautiful way of channelizing and expressing our emotions. Through art we celebrate our emotions, for example when we love someone we may write a beautiful poem about that person. Lucy Gray is one such example. Having emotions is good because it is through emotions that we develop bonds between members of a family, people of a nation and humanity at large.
