Theodore Roosevelt was very sick child. Because near sighted,weak, he even had heart problems. He had home schooling.
His father wanted a strong child. One day he told Roosevelt that he had mind but not body, and without body mind cannot go far. From that day onwards Roosevelt started working very hard. His father built a gym inside house and gave him weights. He particularly found hiking nvery interesting, and started climbing mountains even in odd seasons.He went to boxing and rowing competition, he doctors had advised him to find a desk job but he refused.
He was completely out of his physical ailments all because of his sheer willpower.
