Yes, I think someone can become a better person by constantly doing the right thing, even if his or her inclination is to do something else entirely.

Because, when a person did a right thing, that can be helpful to anyone and if the person is appreciated for the right thing he did, then that person feels good as someone appreciated him. But, just for the ones, someone cannot become a better person.

So, if that person did a right thing accidently or unknowingly that too constantly, he will be thinking about the appreciations he got and next time he will be seeing his happiness in doing the right thing and getting appreciations rather than the happiness he gets when he did a wrong thing. So, this helps someone to become a better person by cnstantly doing the right thing.
