Can we rely on (special) interest groups, especially ones we personally support, or does the market for new ideas need more regulation, or should the market rule?
Answer. Special interest groups first orginated in USA. It is also called "vested groups". These groups are actually groups of people who are organised activley for promoting and defending their common interest. It can be beneficial to rely on (special) interest groups. That they can help society in many ways, democracy is the one. They can fight for ground level democrats. They can attempt to bring a change in the public policy by exerting pressure.
Biggest advantage of having it is that they are very different from the political parties in that they neither contest election nor try to capture political power. So, we should rely on interest groups. And if it is about market, I think, the market for new ideas need not be abandoned to rules and regulations. The capital should rule the state not politics. Leave the market free. It will already rule the capital and state by itself.
