Answer #1

The basic aim of any government is to provide an equal opportunity to each of its citizens. Throughout the world, each country indulges in doing good to all, irrespective of their caste, creed or gender. Social welfare covers essential things through services, such as day care assistance, food stamps and employment help. The policies are put in place in letter and spirit to provide- access to health care services to all, equal opportunity for education and employment, a safe and healthy environment in which people may strive and thrive. In some cases, these policies also tend to provide a financial support and many services which the lower class people are devoid of.

Benefits of the social welfare policies are many, yet there are times when these policies are bereft of the advantages. There may be certain policy makers who work for their own selfish interests and may cheat people by not implementing the policies for the benefit of people.

Overall, it may be said that these policies are meant for encouraging the social welfare of the stakeholders.
