Yes,I agree with Reisberg.Reisberg's unconscious is not instinctual and emotional,but,is associated with memory and thinking process.Intropection is conscious effort of thinking of inner thoughts or recalling,but, sometimes thinking occurs unconsciously and spontaneously.

An example regarding this could be the recalling the name and facial features of an old class mate which was difficult and failed in retrieving the name and facial features ,but, recognized him/ her immediately in the old snapshot of schooldays and immediately the name also was recalled without a conscious effort.
