I think it is important to make assumptions for an educational benefit but maybe not social assumptions. What do you think?
Please like for efforts.
Assumptions can help us in reaching conclusions while in the context of educational benefit but there is a very thin line which differentiates conclusion from judgement. While assumptions in academic background may contribute to speeding the process of learning, social assumptions are actually a kind of baseline for stereotypes. to understand this we can take an example of gender discriminationIn context to crime and criminal activities, if an individual is asked to imagine are human being who is wearing a bandana on their forehead along with jeans and smoking a pack of cigarettes then for the majority of population the first image that comes into is offer male, whereas the context can be applicable to females as well, however our assumptions stop us in critically analysing the situation and does we reach on a conclusion which is judgemental in nature.
