accourding to the equity theory , what would demotivate students in class ?

Answer #1

Please like for efforts.

Equity theory determines whether there is a fair distribution of resources between the partners involved. It measures the ratio between the contribution by one partner and the benefits received towards the partner. In the case of classroom settings students may feel demotivated according to the equity theory when the the amount of resources invested by students are not returned by equal benefits for example if they are putting in efforts to understand a particular topic but the teacher is not able to make them understand.
