Arson is a criminal act of deliberately setting any property on fire. There are several motive based classification of Arson. Three of the types of Arson are as follows :-
1). Revenge Arson :- this type of setting fire is caused by the feeling of injustice that is real or just perceived caused to the offender. For example, one person after having a break up with their partner or being cheated by them may set their cloths or their other properties, may be bed too. Etc.
2). Crime Concealment :- As suggested by the name, this is the act of setting fire in order to conceal the evidences or another act of crime such as murder or attempt to destroy some documents or papers.
3). Excitement :- Again as siggsugge by the name, the motive of this type of Arson is excitement, seeking attention or thrill. For example, setting up trash of anything else for excitement and filming it.
