Although data collection can often be posed by challenges on biases, it is not possible to collect data using multiple methods as that is time-consuming, financially draining, and researcher will go crazy calculating using all the methods. It is highly impractical and absolutely mind-boggling.
In order to maintain objectivity and reduce the effect of bias on the data, a researcher can use their colleagues to code the data, look for more data sources, review findings with peers, look for alternative explanations, target the correct population and sample, use a better format of data collection, and see if cultural differences are contributing to the case and reduce that as well
