Visual rhetoric is where visual images are communicating with the reader such that the reader is able to perfectly understand the meaning of the message conveyed. This is a representation of how culture can be communicated and reflected and changed by the way they have been portrayed by images. An example of graphic novels is comics , though they are not novels in a true sense. Comics have a good portrayal of the story in the form of pictures, colours as well as texts and images. The visual rhetoric allow better understanding of graphic novels which allows integration of words and pictures simultaneously. Also, it develops the skills of image interpretation and converting them to words.
