In order to make a secure attachment with new born infant(baby), the new parents need to build a healthy relationship with their child. Healthy relationship means that they need to win the confidence of their children first and help him or her to develop a self esteem inside him or her. They need to make the chod believe that he or she is secure with them and child is most secured under their surveillance.

Secure attachment can be made from the time when parents become able to understand the language, needs, moves and gesture of their child because they will respond those things accordingly and it will win the confidence of the baby towards their parents. Parents need to understand the behavior and personality trait of their child. They should try to fulfill all needs of the infant. This way a secure and healthy relationship between two could be build positively.
