The above diagram describes the five stages of grief in brief

1) Denial - Initially the person denies the thought, and that denial can actually give him/her courage to face the situation. The person is in the state of shock because the life has changed suddenly. In this stage a person may live in false reality than normal reality. It is very important in this stage to express the feelings or talk with somebody confidentially. Once the shock fades, the person has to come across with his feelings who are buried in the subconscious, it comes to the surface level. In this stage the society would tell the person to accept the fact, some of the close members would ignore but mostly world would pity.

2) Anger: - This is when person has to face the reality and cannot be in the virtual world. A person facing his may throw anger on somebody, blame someone or even blame god. It is also mentioned in this stage that anger helps in healing, once anger is thrown. Here it is considered healthy tho express anger so that those feelings do not go in the subconscious mind. It is also considered as natural from the societal point of view. The society may consider the person as maniac, and may give advice to join meditation classes or read something about death.

3) Bargaining - Bargaining thoughts start coming in mind, those are full of guilt such as am action which could have prevented the death, such as what if I would not have had a fight with the person who is no more, or what if I would have gone on street etc, what if we could have had an early treatment. In this stage they find it very difficult to do the day to day activities esp. at the work place. If the world is good enough people would understand that person esp. employees, neighbours etc.

4) Depression - It is full of grief and is commonly associated with present emotion. The person may feel like living in a fog, he may not feel any anger or any happiness. He may cut down the social activities and the social company. The person may come across suicidal thoughts such as whats the point in continuing in life. In this stage it is more likely that they may turn to alcohol, drugs or even sleep pills. Here the society notices that the person is in depression some may go to help such as having a word or some may even be more busy in their own lives and ignore. Due to this fast running world nobody has got time to talk with other person so we can find more depression cases around us.

5) Acceptance - In this last stage, a person comes across the thoughts of acceptance and faces the situation such as life continues even if some people are no more in the life. Soon the environment also gives a new thing, so that person starts indulging in those things. Soon the person also comes across the old friends and family members and starts interacting with them. The society welcomes the person back, have conversation on different topics.
