Heart disease: there has been w laugh research to identify the manner in which stress ha contributed to heart diseases. If stress is in chronic form, there would be weakening of the arteries. This is because there would be an increase in blood pressure as well as heart rate, damaging the artery walls.

Diabetes: as a result of mental stress, there has been an elevation in the level of diabetes. This would be causing higher glucose levels in either form of diabetes.

Alzheimer’s: as a result of increased stress, there would be depression as well as dementia. Chronic stress leading to anxiety would be damaging different areas of the brain that are involved in emotional responses, memory or thinking, ultimately causing Alzheimer’s.

Cancer: there has not been much evidences which denote that stress causes cancer. Though, it has been indicated that many psychological factors would be increasing the risk of cancer development in people.
