Do you agree with philosopher Peter Singer that we should give up any disposable income to charity? If not, please cite an argument from one of the readings why not. Yes, I do agree with Peter to some extent that we should donate some part of our income to charity because it is necessary to help needy people. Those who have some source of income they should understand that many people don't have enough money to fulfill their basic needs and in such case it is society's responsibility that to contribute their efforts to help those who are in actual need. If every individual will decide to donate some part of their income to charity or poor people then the level of poverty would be reduced and every person would be able to access the basic needs of their life. It is morally necessary to contribute some contribution to charity' in our society for the benefit of all. Almost all people are self centered and very less people think about others. So it is necessary to show humanity.
