Vocational rehabilitation clinicians specifically focus on advising clients on what to expect from, and how to adjust to, the challenges of living and working with a disability. Their interventions are designed to enable clients to attain knowledge, skills, and resources needed to compete in the interview process, get a job, and keep a job. On the other hand, a standard mental health clinician provide a broader and more generalised range of services such clinical and casework services, and counseling and treatment for mentally and emotionally disturbed clients and their families. They also perform related work as and when required.
