One of the most important challenges that the investigators would face is the fact that elders or other adults may not expose their own family members out of fear or love. This would mean that the investigators would have hard time making the elders admit that they are being abused. Secondly, elders would depend on the family members for their survival and if they pronounce anything against them, they might lose the existing support from the family. Finally, they wouldn’t like their own family name spoiled by their confession, thus they would choose not to cooperate with the investigating officers.
